If you remember the  LaCie Blase Runner hard driver that was designed by Phillip Stark,  LaCie have now teamed up with French silversmith Christofle to bring us LaCie Sphere, a  handcrafted hard drive enclosed in a spherical case of silver–plated steel. The company unveiled the device ahead of CES 2014. The  shiny silver-plated sphere features 1TB capacity and is powered trough a high-speed USB 3.0 cable allowing it to function with any power card. The external hard drive is also USB 2.0 compatible, see the video  below.
