Samsung has been officially unveiled its flagship smart phone GALAXY S 4 here in New York, NY.
The S4 will feature a 5-inch LED full HD Super-Amoled screen, with a resolution of 441ppi, making it one of the highest resolution screen available today in the market.
The unit itself is just 7.9mm thin, and will weight no more than 130gram ( 4.58 ounce = 130 grams). It will weight a bit more then iPhone 5 (112 grams).
The S4 will also include a feature called Air Gesture, allowing users to interact with the device by hovering over the screen, for example if your reading a digital magazine, you can flip through the pages by hovering your finger tip over the screen without any physical contact.
Processor of choice is a Exynos 5 Octa processor, which will be clocked at 1.6GHz
As with all the previous Samsung smart phones, the S4 will also be wrapped in a gloss plastic-like polycarbonate housing, and an aluminum bezel around the border.
The S4 will be shipped with Android 4.2.2 OS, with some personalized add-ons from Samsung.
It’s a 4G LTE ready devices, Samsung said it will offer download speed of 100MBPs and uploading speed of 50Mpbs. It will also include an infrared so you can control TV.
Samsung will offer the S4 with three storage capacity, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. There is a MicroDS card reader, so you can expand your storage if required.
The “power plant” better known as the battery will be 2600mAh, offering enough juice to power all of this.
