During Nokia World in Abu Dhabi earlier this week Microsoft said Instagram was one of the most searched for app in Windows App Store. And today the thriving Windows Phone community had their wish granted. Microsoft today announced the arrival of the official Instagram app, the concept still the same as with iOS and Android allowing users to express themselves via photos and adding some cool retro-filters with minimal text focus, and photo feeds will appear on Live Tiles found on the Start screen. Video capture and uploading videos is currently not available however. Instagram’s arrival has come at good time too, Windows Phone is gaining market share rapidly these days, so here’s to the Windows community – let the image tell the story!
