In an official blog post, Microsoft says that the event will “usher in a new generation of games, television and entertainment,” and will be accompanied by a live on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, and Spike TV. Interestingly, the message goes on to say that the event will serve as initial only “taste”, but who is going to save his largest catalog of games for E3.
“On that day, we will share our vision for Xbox, and we give a real taste of the future. Then 19 days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we will continue the conversation and show our full line of games of great success. ”

For those who have not been following the avalanche of rumors before the event, it is expected that the next generation Xbox to announce the arrival of the strategy for complete home entertainment from Microsoft, providing significant leaps in graphics processing power, transmission of interactive media, and a new, more powerful Kinect.
The event comes just a few months after Sony released the PlayStation 4 at a special event in New York City.
